Turn on your equipment and follow the steps below to set up your remote.

Be sure to point the remote at your equipment during setup.

Step 1:

Press the mode key for the device type you wish to setup.

Step 2:

Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice.

Step 3:

Using the digit keys on the remote, enter the code shown in the CodeFinder on this web page.

Step 4:

Test the remote to confirm that it controls your device as expected. If it does not, try again using the next code listed.

TV-Image

Turn on the TV or DEVICE you wish to program and follow the steps below.

Be sure to point the remote at your equipment during setup.

Step 1:

Press the mode key for the device type you wish to setup.

Step 2:

Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice.

Step 3:

Enter 9-9-1 on your digit keypad. The mode LED will blink twice.

Step 4:

While aiming the remote at your home theater, press CH+ repeatedly until the device turns off.

Step 5:

When the device (example: TV) turns off, press SETUP to save the working code.

  • ALL ON turns equipment used for watching cable TV on and off
  • SETUP used for remote control programming
  • MODE KEYS used to set remote to control selected device

NAVIGATION KEYS

  • A-C KEYS used for special functions displayed on your cable menus
  • GUIDE displays program guide
  • ON DEMAND used to access on demand program library
  • MENU displays main cable menu
  • DAY -/+ used to jump a day ahead or back in program guide
  • INFO displays information on current selected program
  • PAGE +/- used to jump a page at a time in program guide
  • EXIT closes current menu

PLAYBACK CONTROLS

  • LIST displays list of recorded programs on DVR boxes
  • RECORD press to record selected program
  • FF/PAUSE/PLAY/REW/SKIP BACK/STOP/SKIP FWD used to control playback of live, recorded, or On Demand programs
  • LIVE returns to live TV

OTHER KEYS

  • LAST returns to the previously selected channel
  • FAV cycles through favorite channels set on your cable box
  • PIP ON/OFF turns on picture-in-picture on some cable boxes
  • SWAP used to swap between tuners on DVR boxes or to swap pictures on PIP boxes

Five blinks means that your batteries are low and need to be replaced soon.

To control your equipment, be sure to do the following:

  • Point the remote at the equipment when using it, making sure that there is a clear line of sight.
