Remote Control Setup

Using Code Entry

Turn on your equipment and follow the steps below to set up your remote.

Be sure to point the remote at your equipment during setup

1. Press the mode key for the device type you wish to setup.

2. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice

3. Using the digit keys on the remote, enter the code shown in the code finder above.

4. Test the remote to confirm that it controls your device as expected. If it does not, try again using the next code listed.

Turn on the TV or DEVICE you wish to program and follow the steps below.

Be sure to point the remote at your equipment during setup.

1. Press the mode key for the device you wish to set up.

2. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice

3. Enter 9 – 9 – 1 using the digit keys on the remote.

4. Press 1 for a TV code, 2 for a DVD/VCR code, or 3 if searching for an audio device code.

5. Aim the remote at your equipment and press CH+ repeatedly until the device turns off.

6. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice. Your new setting is saved.

Setting the MASTER POWER function

1. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice

2. Enter 9 – 9 – 5 using the digit keys on the remote.

3. Press the POWER key.

4. Press the mode key and then the POWER key for each device you wish to turn ON when you watch cable TV.

5. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice. Your new setting is saved.

Changing VOLUME LOCK settings

1. Press and hold SETUP until the mode key blinks twice

2. Enter 9 – 9 – 3 using the digit keys on the remote.

3. Press the mode key for the device you wish to use for volume control. The key will blink twice to confirm.
